EP support every half term

Feel secure in the knowledge that it is never too long before you can consult with an Educational Psychologist. No more feeling stuck! We meet every half term.

Immediate Strategies and Advice

SENCO's leave consultation with new strategies and ideas they can start to plan to put in place immediately. No waiting weeks for reports.

Network with other SENCos

Consultation is delivered in groups with up to 4 SENCo's who all contribute in each case; sharing ideas of what works in their school and learning from each other. This provides great professional development and peer support.

Evidence of outside agency involvement

Use the strategies and advice from group consultation to immediately update pupil SEND support plans and demonstrate evidence of acting on outside agency advice.

Increase your knowledge and confidence in SENCO role

Attending group gives you space every half term to connect with other SENCo's, learn from each other and develop in your role.

Support across all 4 areas of SEND

Whether it is behaviour, social emotional and mental health, attachment, trauma, domestic abuse, language and communication, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, academic progress, sensory needs, EAL or anything else - we've got it covered!

Steph Abell SENCO Castle View Primary School

Group consultation has been an amazing resource to have and the benefits of this type of service are endless

The fact that there are other schools attending is really the icing on the cake as it means you have the opportunity to share ideas, interventions and strategies.

There are always plenty of ideas to take away to try in school for yourself.

For anybody that has never participated in a Group Consultation approach, I would strongly recommend giving it a go

Sharing challenges and difficulties within a group allows for lots of different ideas and people always offer creative and innovative solutions

Steph Lloyd Greene SENCO St Bede's Junior School

It is very beneficial discussing cases with colleagues who can share good practice and have often had similar children so can speak with real experience

The ability to use consultation advice that is not directly for one of our children is also really useful.

The EPs are incredibly supportive and I've been very happy with the support we have received.

I'm excited to give this a go

  • Yes I'd like access to an experienced and skilled Educational Psychologist every half term
  • Yes my job would be easier with immediate strategies to create positive changes for pupils in my school
  • Yes I want to learn from other SENCo's and connect and share ideas
  • Yes I want to develop my knowledge and skills and progress in my role
